When is it a good time to end a story? Should all characters we like live "Happily Ever After"? Why would an author end a story on a happy note or a sad note? What actually determines the end? These questions came up in our discussion about the end of the movie, Persepolis. So many students were involved in Marjane's life and wanted her entire story. This is the exact place that I wanted to students to be in and asking the question, when does a story truly end?
I'm still grading the rough drafts. I must admit, I'm very proud of you all. Your writing has improved and I can tell how much time and effort you are putting into your work.
Thursday, we will begin out next unit.
Happy Reading,
Mrs. A
