10/29/18 - Working on the Reflective Commentary.
The reflective commentary is the most important piece of an analysis. This is where you show your readers (the teacher) that you know what you are talking about. The reflective commentary focuses on two ideas; 1) How does my textual support prove my claim, focusing on the mood? 2) Why is my claim important? What is the purpose of the technique? By focusing on these ideas, students are able to narrow down their ideas and write a focused reflective commentary.
