The Burn-e clips are parts of the film. However, there should be enough to analyze for your interactive notebook.

Toy Story of Terror is shown in 6 parts on YouTube.

Review Game! What are the parts needed for the body paragraphs of an analytical essay? What is a claim? What is textual support? What is a reflective commentary? What do you need in a claim? . . .
Now that we have gone over the parts of an analytical paragraph it's time to practice writing analytical paragraphs.

10/29/18 - Discovering the Reflective Commentary - One Man Band

10/29/18 - Working on the Reflective Commentary.
The reflective commentary is the most important piece of an analysis. This is where you show your readers (the teacher) that you know what you are talking about. The reflective commentary focuses on two ideas;
1) How does my textual support prove my claim, focusing on the mood?
2) Why is my claim important? What is the purpose of the technique?

By focusing on these ideas, students are able to narrow down their ideas and write a focused reflective commentary.
