Publishing

1) The Notebook - 
     Use the check off page to make sure you have completed all of the work. 
     Turn in to the box and I'll grade them. 
     PLEASE NOTE - YOU CAN NOT MAKE UP THE NOTEBOOK. ONCE YOU TURN IT IN, IT IS DONE. 

2) The Anthology - 
     Use the check off page to make sure that you have completed all of the work.  (located on google classroom)
     Turn into the box when you are done. 
​     PLEASE NOTE - YOU CAN NOT REVISE THE ANTHOLOGY. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT IT IS YOUR BEST WORK POSSIBLE.

Time to Sonnet!
Two type of sonnets - Shakespeare and Italian 
All sonnets have the following:
     * 14 lines
     * 10 syllables per line
     * rhyme scheme 
Slam "Sonet 18", "How Do I Love Thee" & "Stay or Go"

Today we moved onto sonnets, starting with Shakespeare's "Sonnet 18, Shall I Compare Thee"

We also went back over "Ode on the Death of a Favorite Cat Drowned in a Tub of Goldfishes" to see how it is linked to the myth of Narcissus and Echo.

Our focus was on identifying allusions found with in the poem.
